New Zealand - 2004

In February 2004 we journeyed with Elderhostel to New Zealand for an "On Foot in Kiwiland" adventure.  Our flight from Los Angeles to Auckland was long and tiring and we arrived in Auckland two days after departing!  We were met by our wonderful hosts and whisked off to Whangamata on the Eastern coast of the North Island. From there we toured to Rotorua and then flew to the South Island where we spent the bulk of our three week stay.  The photos are in sequence of our journey.  Some pages with the larger images have additional descriptions and information.
