On our final trek from Killarney to
Limerick, we stopped in Tralee at the
County Kerry Museum. This
county run museum is on two floors of the Ashe Memorial Hall.
Excellent exhibits on the Medieval Experience (this photo) and the
Shackleton Antartic Expedition are shown there.
Our last night was spent in Limerick. We had dinner in the hotel
preceeded by an Irish coffee at South's Pub and a walking tour of the
area, location many scenes from
Angela's
Ashes, A Memoir by Frank McCourt. It was a truely fitting
end to our Irish Odessy.
