Cobh was our last major stop on our sailing tour.  We tied up along side the wharf near the Cobh Heritage Center in time for a short tour there.  After the tour, we hiked up to the Cathedral on the top of the hill.  This photo was taken from street level near the bottom of the hill. From Cobh, we motored to Cork the next day and were able to go into town.  It was Saturday and everyone in Cork and the surrounding countryside was walking the streets!  We went to the English market and explored the many shops. Our Elderhostel tour ended early the following day with a bus ride to Shannon Airport where we caught another bus to Galway.
