That afternoon, we made a visit to the Sera Monastery an actively operating center of learning.  Here
we visited the printing room where the manuscripts containing ancient teachings of the Lamas.  This
young man is printing pages, one at a time from a teak woodcut printing plate.  The woodcut itself
contained engravings for both sides of the page.
