Most of the ceramic soldiers and animals were broken by rioters shortly after the death of the Emperor
so that the archeological reconstruction task has involved excavation and identification of parts and then
reassembly to their original state.  Much of the site is not yet excavated and will remain so for the
forseeable future to naturally preserve this "Eighth Wonder of the World."
