Our first exposure to public life in China came on a walking tour of Tiananmen Square and the
Forbidden City.  Here is a view of the "Monument to the People's Heros" located in front of the
Museum of Chinese Revolution.  There were many tourists in the Square from all over China but the
post card sellers converged on us with great persistence.
