What is eScrip?
- eScrip (produced
by San Mateo-based ESI, Inc.) is a fundraising tool, similar in
concept to paper SCRIP.
- Supporters register
their own credit cards, ATM cards or grocery cards (e.g. Safeway
Club Card) with eScrip.
- Register using registration
forms (available at the SCRIP table or in the office), by phone
at 1-800-400-7878, or online at http://www.escripinc.com
. FV's identification number is 136952020.
- Supporters use registered
cards to pay for merchandise at participating merchants (see eScrip
merchant list on the eScrip website or pick up a copy at the SCRIP
Table ). ESI intends to continually bring new merchants into the
program.
- Participating merchants
donate a percentage of sales to Farallone View Ed Fund.

Why is Farallone View
participating in the eScrip program?
- Safeway (which accounts
for over 50% of our SCRIP revenues) has switched to the eScrip
program. Other merchants will likely follow.
- Convenience: Supporters
will no longer have to pre-purchase Safeway and other SCRIP from
participating merchants. You will never "run out" of
SCRIP.
- Broader support: eScrip
can be used by friends and family, and for different types of
purchases such as travel or corporate-related expenses.
