Email FAQ

Common Questions and Answers

I get a "cannot connect to server" error when trying to send mail.
This error often occurs when you are not connected to the Internet. Verify your Internet connection and try to send mail again. If you continue to get this error message, please refer to the mail-relaying section below.

What is the "relaying denied" error that happens when I try to send mail?
This error occurs when you are connecting to the Internet via another provider. Some providers will allow you to only send mail through their mail server. This does not change your e-mail address or the appearance of your email. Check with your connection provider for the proper Outgoing (SMTP) server settings.
