Most dial-up errors can be solved with one (or both) of the following methods:
- If you are having trouble connecting try restarting the computer first. Most computers have internal modems and the only way to fully reset the modem inside the computer is to restart the computer. Re-initalizing the modem will often fix the problems that occur when your modem will not create a connection.
- If you are receiving bad username/password errors try re-entering both the username and password in your account settings. Please remember that username and password are case sensitive and all letters should be lowercase, unless you specified otherwise when you created your account with Coastside Net.
Also make sure there are no spaces in either your username or password.
If you need help configuring your dial-up account please consult our Dial-up Setup page.
