Setting Up Your Dial-up Connection

Configuring Dial-up for Windows 2000/XP

  1. Select a local telephone number - Click Here

  2. Open the "Control Panel" folder and select "Internet Options."

  3. Next go to the "Connections" tab, click on "Add" to create a new connection.

  4. Select "Dial-up to private network" and click "Next."

  5. Enter the dial-up access number you selected and click "Next."

  6. Enter "Coastside Net" into the name box and click "Finish."

  7. Click on the newly created "Coastside Net" connection and click the "Settings" button.

  8. Enter your account Username and Password into the appropriate boxes. Leave the "Domain" field blank. Click "OK."

  9. Select the "Dial whenever a network connection is not present" option.

  10. Click "OK" to close the Internet Options control panel and save your settings.

You have successfully completed the dial-up configuration.
